            Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has paid tribute to Oro Nation, the  third largest ethnic nationality in the State, saying smartness is their greatest gift from God.

Emmanuel said Oro people most of who were very smart are well favoured by God who has so endowed them with such a precious attribute which makes them stand out in all spheres of life.
 The Governor who was speaking during the 19th Cultural Day and festival of the Lagos branch of Oron Union at Sam Shonibare Street explained that with such inert gift, the people were wonderful visionary who could think deep and see deep into the future. Represented at the event by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem, the State chief Executives commended  the Lagos Branch of the Union for always showing responsibility and carrying out her activities on a yearly basis.

Saying culture was the bedrock of a people which binds them together and give them a unique sense of identity and dignity, the Governor encouraged Oro people not to relent in their effort so as to transmit their Good cultural heritage to the next generation. Good thing to build the House for the people and made good his contributions for the realization of the project.
