GROUP SET TO ENDORSE GOVERNOR UDOM
will be further boosted on Saturday 15th December 2018 by a known group in
State with the name Mandate Support Group as the group will formally
declare for His Excellency Mr. Udom Emmanuel (MSG) this is to further
enhance his second term ambition come 2019.
The declaration of “No Vacancy in Hilltop Mansion/ Launching of project
Udom Emmanuel 2019”, came as a result of security, peace and industrialization
policies which the Governor has brought to the state. According to the group
national coordinator and Chief host, Prince Udeme Inwen while addressing
newsmen in Uyo said that, “four years is to
excuses, let us send a man with a proven track record of problem solving,
passion for empowerment and the required professional acumen to enact
people-oriented governance policies that will set his people on the path
to sustainable development”.
The group through it national leader made their decision to endorse
Governor Udom based on the Governors performance in the
last three and half years.
However, the Senate President; Senator Bukola Saraki, Price
Uche Secondus; the PDP National Chairman, Hon. Barr. Emmanuel
Emoidem, Pst. Sunny Ibuot and many other prominent leaders of
PDP will be at the declaration event.
Kris Ekefere, chairman planning committee, also speaking about
the upcoming event said that he expects Udom to be endorse by
Mandate Support Group which is a national that has strong rooting
in Akwa Ibom to play a leading role in mobilizing larger citizenry to
vote the governor for a second term.
Barr. Smart Eshiet, secretary general of the group and
Prof. Matthew Ekpo, provost College of Education Afaha Nsit,
also promise that the event will be a memorable one, thus,
invited all PDP faithful to be there.
